Dr. Shirley Jensen was born and raised in San Francisco. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and went on to study dentistry at UCSF. During her time at UCSF, she earned numerous awards such as UC Regent’s Scholarship and UCSF Dental Alumni Clinical Excellence Award. She continues to enhance her excellent gentle patient care by participating in educational courses in all aspects of general dentistry and practicing in various clinical settings around the Bay Area. In her leisure time, Dr. Jensen likes to read novels and comic books, play the piano, bake cookies, and play with her young son and Boston Terrier.
