Covid-19 Safety Protocol
Our community has been through a lot of challenges this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and we follow the guidelines set by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Some of the safety protocol we implement are as follows:
Our office will ask you to fill out screening forms online prior to your appointment. You might find some questions and guidelines being repeated several times to ensure the safety of everyone.
All staff and patients will be screened daily for flu symptoms including checking body temperature.
Upon arrival on your appointment date, please call our office at (650) 962-8773 and wait outside. We will inform you when it is clear to enter the facility.
Prior to entering the facility, we will ask you to wear your face mask to minimize exposure. We will also ask you to use hand sanitizer or wash your hands with soap before being seated to the treatment room. Once in the treatment room, we will ask you to pre-rinse your mouth with anti-microbial mouthwash.
You may see that our facility will have lots of barriers to minimize contamination.
Appointments will be spaced out, and patients will be seated far apart to allow for social distancing.
All clinical staff will be wearing proper protective equipment such as face shield, face mask, protective gowns and gloves while working on patients.
Our facility is equipped with air purifiers with UV light, hypochlorous acid fogger, and high pressure oral vacuum units to minimize aerosols and clean the air.
All instruments are sterilized, and all frequently touched surfaces are disinfected with hospital grade disinfectant.
We will do our best to work efficiently and safely, but there will be some waiting time to allow proper screening and rigid infection control.
We thank you for your trust and loyalty, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
